Thameen
British luxury perfumery
Thameen is a London niche perfume house founded in 2013 by Basel Binjabr, named after the Arabic word for something precious. The brand sets itself in the lineage of British luxury perfumery while drawing openly on Middle Eastern raw materials — oud, saffron, rose, frankincense — and presenting them in heavily lacquered, jewel-toned bottles. The collection is divided into series inspired by gemstones, royal residences and historical objects, with names such as Carved Oak, Imperial and Britologne. Compositions are signed by a roster of independent perfumers and tend toward dense, long-lasting orientals balanced by classical English structures: leather, tobacco, aromatic colognes. Distribution sits in upper-niche territory, through Selfridges, Harrods and a network of specialist perfumeries across Europe, the Gulf and North America. The house remains independently owned and London-based.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
