By the editors · 2 min readBlack pepper and saffron arrive with a dry, metallic edge — the saffron lending its characteristic suede-like warmth, the pepper keeping the opening sharp and deliberate. Sage cuts in at the heart, adding a herbaceous, slightly smoky dimension that bridges the spices into the darker base.
Patchouli, leather, cypriol, and oud converge into a dense, earthy base with real depth. The amber softens what could otherwise be an austere composition, giving the leather a slightly resinous finish rather than a raw one.
This reads as a serious, dark fragrance — smoky and animalic without being aggressive. Best suited to cooler weather and evenings where a bold, grounded presence is appropriate.
