Honour Man opens with a sharp dual-pepper accord — black and pink pepper together, dry and precise — before nutmeg adds a spiced warmth to the midrange without sweetening it.

Weighted by intensity across 11 accords.

Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readHonour Man opens with a sharp dual-pepper accord — black and pink pepper together, dry and precise — before nutmeg adds a spiced warmth to the midrange without sweetening it. Then the base arrives, and this is where Honour Man makes its case: incense, vetiver, tonka, cedar, and patchouli building a quietly monastic accord that wears close and says very little loudly. This is austerity as a deliberate choice, a departure from the house's usual opulence. It rewards patience — the pepper dries down, the incense deepens, and after an hour it occupies the skin with something between prayer and afterthought.
