By the editors · 2 min readBergamot flashes bright and brief, a sharp metallic whistle that evaporates within minutes. Vetiver muscles in immediately, grassy smoke streaked with saffron’s leathery iodine and the dry heat of nutmeg and pink pepper; the spices fuse into a crackling, earthy ember rather than kitchen warmth. Amber and vanilla arrive early, thickening the ember into a molten resin that clings to skin, while cedar keeps the structure angular and patchouli adds a cocoa-dark undercurrent that prevents overdose sweetness. Over hours the accord tilts from smoldering vetiver-resin to a dusty, almost tobacco-laced wood accord, projection shrinking to a low, persistent hum. Cool evenings, leather jacket, city streets; moderate sillage stays within arm’s reach for six hours before settling into a close, smoky wood skin.
