By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is a soft-edged fruit basket—raspberry and strawberry mostly, with a faint tartness from currant and blackberry that keeps it from turning into candy. It's brighter than expected, less syrupy than the note list suggests, though unmistakably sweet. Within minutes, the berries retreat and a pale jasmine emerges alongside violet, giving the fragrance a slightly powdery, old-fashioned heart that sits oddly but not unpleasantly against the fruit.

The base is where it finds its footing. Oakmoss and patchouli add a whisper of chypre structure beneath the vanilla and amber, creating a musky-woody foundation that feels more serious than the berries promised. The result is a perfume caught between two ideas—youthful and berry-forward on one hand, classically constructed on the other—never quite committing to either.

Best suited for someone who wants approachable sweetness with enough backbone to feel intentional. Wears close to the skin after the first hour.
