Geranium opens it green and faintly metallic — leafier than the rosy register the note usually pulls toward — before olibanum settles into the heart with a cold, smoky resin character that does most of the work for the next several hours.
The drydown is agarwood, handled clean and woody rather than barnyard, with the incense still threading through the projection. The structure is deliberately spare, almost architectural; the spareness itself is the statement. It reads serious and evening-leaning, projects substantially for the first two hours, and trails as a smoky-woody skin scent that holds for a long stretch. Cool weather only — the smoke turns sour in heat.
