The middle turns darker as the base pushes forward. Sandalwood and oud thread smoky depth under the florals, with frankincense reinforcing the resin signal. The shift moves from floral light into incense-dark.
Tar, amber, and patchouli round out the base with a bracing, slightly industrial darkness. Tar is the unexpected element, adding a leather-asphalt edge.
