Black pepper, myrrh and musk open together, an unusual combination that lands dry and slightly resinous, the pepper crackling against the myrrh's bitter-balsamic depth.

Orange blossom at the heart adds a brief honeyed-floral lift, sitting somewhat awkwardly between the spicy-resinous opening and the leathery base, providing a moment of softness before the composition turns dark again.
The base of sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, suede and musk is the centre of gravity. Suede leads with a smooth, slightly powdery leather, patchouli adds earthy depth, and vanilla rounds the edges without sweetening too much. Sandalwood and musk diffuse it all into a warm woody-leather drydown. A grown-up, slightly enigmatic composition for cool weather and evening wear.
