By the editors · 2 min readLeather dominates immediately, a raw, birch-tanned hide streaked with salty ambergris and the unmistakable funk of civet that turns the hide slightly feral. Violet lands next, not powdery but bruised and green, its ionones stretching the leather into a cool, mineral shade that keeps the musk from going barnyard. The musk itself is wash-rag ambergris: grey, iodine, skin-warm, pulling the composition onto the body rather than the clothes. No top-to-base pyramid here—everything surfaces together and stays, the civet softening rather than sharpening as hours pass, the leather losing its tar edge and becoming a matte, second-skin suede. Projection hovers at arm’s length for six hours before collapsing to a whisper of warm fur and sea-shell salt; it feels made for cool nights and dark bars where fabric is optional.
