By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens with a bright citrus note before lavender takes over the composition's direction. The heart's lavender, jasmine, and ylang-ylang is a classic fougère arrangement — herbaceous, floral, and slightly indolic in combination.
Oakmoss and civet anchor the base with a distinctly animalic, mossy character. Patchouli deepens the earthiness. This is an unambiguously classic fougère construction: the mossy-animalic-lavender axis is fully present and unapologetically executed.
Wears with confident projection. Best appreciated by those comfortable with the earthier, animalic registers of old-school fougère — the civet and oakmoss are not shy. Cool to cold weather suits it best.
