By the editors · 2 min readAmbrette and grapefruit open with a soft, slightly musky citrus character — the ambrette seed lending an almost skin-like quality from the very start rather than waiting for the base. The grapefruit is bright but restrained, more a freshness than a sharp fruit.
Patchouli and rose form the heart, with the patchouli kept in check, contributing earthiness rather than darkness. Musk runs throughout the composition, amplifying the skin-close quality at every stage.
Benzoin, tonka, and vanilla build a warm, balsamic base that adds depth without becoming heavy. The result is a musk-centred fragrance with soft floral and sweet-balsamic support — intimate, smooth, and well-suited to close skin wear year-round.
