By the editors · 2 min readBergamot and cardamom open over a base that announces itself early — amber and vanilla are present from the first spray, lending the opening an already-warm, resinous quality. The citrus sits on top of this rather than clearing a fresh path.
Jasmine and orange blossom emerge in the heart with a creamy, animalic undertone from ambrette. The white florals are rich rather than light, pushing toward a sensual, slightly indolic register. Leather threads through quietly, adding a dry contrast to the sweetness.
Olibanum in the base brings a smoky, incense-like depth alongside the returning amber and vanilla. The overall effect is complex, dense, and warm — best suited to cooler temperatures where it can unfold slowly.
