By the editors · 2 min readA jammy, slightly tart top — plum and blackcurrant — quickly hands off to the perfume's center: a labdanum-and-benzoin amber accord built up against rose. The fruit sweetness reads more wine-like than candy, lending the amber a darker register than the cinnamon-sugar version most ambers default to.
The drydown tightens with vetiver and cedar, dry-woody underneath the resin. Musk softens the closure. The whole thing wears warm and close, suited to cold weather and quieter evenings; an amber composition that earns its name through actual amber-building chemistry rather than just calling itself that.
