By the editors · 2 min readGiò pour Femme is a 90s white-floral oriental in full bloom. The opening is a thicket — rosewood and bergamot give shape, but jasmine, rose and violet announce themselves immediately, dense and powdered.
The heart is where the perfume lives. Gardenia and tuberose anchor a tropical floral chord; ylang-ylang and orange blossom widen it; peach and lily of the valley sweeten it; clove and myrrh add a darker, almost balsamic edge. It's the antithesis of restraint — every flower in the cabinet leaning on each other.
The sandalwood-amber-vanilla dry-down with styrax and musk reads warm and resinous. A heavy, romantic evening floral built for cold weather and presence.
