By the editors · 2 min readGucci Bloom Intense is Alberto Morillas's 2023 deepening of the original Bloom — same white floral core, turned up in richness and given a distinctly more tropical register. Pear, ginger, and mandarin open brightly, the ginger adding just enough spice to prevent the fruit from reading simple. The heart is generously floral: tuberose's creamy indolic richness alongside night-blooming jasmine, jasmine sambac's honeyed sweetness, and orange blossom's fresh-citrus florality — a quartet working in deliberate intensity. Coconut in the base is the defining touch, pulling the florals into a humid, sunlit direction; moss and patchouli adding gentle earthiness underfoot. Bigger than its predecessor and comfortable with that.
