By the editors · 2 min readThe opening flares bright and resinous—bergamot cut with cinnamon bark, restrained enough to feel deliberate rather than gourmand. Neroli adds a slightly soapy elegance, keeping the spice from dominating. As it settles, the frankincense begins to smolder underneath, lending an almost devotional quality to the warmth.
What emerges is a woody incense anchored by guaiac and ambroxan, smooth and linear rather than dramatically shifting. The cinnamon never fully retreats, threading through the base like a low hum. There's a dryness to it, a kind of austere sophistication that resists obvious comfort.
This suits someone drawn to quiet intensity—fragrance as contemplation rather than announcement. It wears close, intimate, more fitting for cooler weather or evening solitude than crowded rooms.
