By the editors · 2 min readPetitgrain and ylang-ylang open together in a slightly sharp, almost medicinal floral — the ylang landing between banana and jasmine, petitgrain keeping it airy. This pairing gives way to a dense heart where jasmine, mimosa, heliotrope, and may rose crowd together in a powdery floral mass. Nutmeg threads through with warmth without becoming spicy.
The base moves into sandalwood and vanilla, with oakmoss providing a mossy, slightly damp counterweight to the sweetness. Patchouli ties the amber and moss together, deepening the composition. The heliotrope from the heart carries into the drydown, lending a cherry-almond softness.
This is a complex, vintage-feeling fragrance that develops in waves. It reads warm and enveloping, suited to evenings where presence matters.
