By the editors · 2 min readInfinity opens as Montale usually does — without apologies. Plum and saffron form an immediately rich, slightly fruity-spiced opening, pink pepper adding a snap while cardamom slows things down with earthy warmth. The heart is lavish: tuberose and rose in full bloom, leather and oud underneath for grounding, vetiver and sandalwood extending the woody register sideways rather than downward.
Tonka bean, tobacco, and amber hold the base in deep, sweet-smoky territory that evolves slowly and lingers. This is a fragrance that commits to its own weight — unsubtle, unambiguous, built for someone who considers too much an aesthetic position rather than a mistake.
