Mandarin opens for a moment — citric, no peel-bitterness — before cinnamon and rose take over the heart, sweeter and more incensed than the eau de toilette's spice-leather routine.
The drydown is where the parfum framing makes sense: leather, iris and oud-style woody notes, dense and slightly smoky, with the sweetness pulled back further than in the original. Sillage is enormous in the first hour, then collapses to something close to the skin for the rest of the day.
