By the editors · 2 min readA bright bergamot opening lifts almost immediately into a dense resinous heart — labdanum and frankincense pressed against jasmine and ylang. Cumin sits just behind, lending an animalic warmth that reads as skin rather than spice.
The drydown settles on guaiac wood, oakmoss, patchouli, and benzoin, with pink pepper flickering through. The labdanum doubles back from heart to base, anchoring the whole composition in a sticky balsamic resin.
This wears as a smoky desert oriental — opulent, slightly feral, and meant to project. Best on cooler skin, in low light, when something atmospheric is wanted.
