By the editors · 2 min readAgainst expectations, a genuinely well-constructed mainstream masculine. The opening accord — juniper's botanical-gin freshness, red currant's tart fruitiness, coriander's warm spice — has real interest and avoids the interchangeability of its genre peers. The heart is classically organized: ginger's sharp bite, geranium's rosy-green facets, bamboo's clean green freshness. Birch and vetiver anchor the base with dry woody earthiness; tonka bean provides coumarin warmth; musk extends the dry-down into something skin-close and lasting. The formula reads competent throughout — a fragrance that transcends its provenance. Worth trying on its merits rather than judging by its branding.
