By the editors · 2 min readSage, coffee, and rum open together with a sharp, almost medicinal richness that immediately signals an unconventional structure. Pink pepper and bergamot add a brief brightness, but the darkness arrives quickly. There is something raw and unsettled about these early moments.
Leather and tobacco dominate the heart, with oud pushing in a resinous, smoky direction. Frankincense adds a cool, slightly medicinal depth alongside ylang-ylang, which softens the composition just enough to stop it feeling purely austere.
The base deepens around sandalwood, vetiver, and oakmoss. Smoke and patchouli give everything a dry, charred quality. Amber and musk provide some warmth, but this remains a heavy, animalic, and earthy fragrance — suited to cold evenings and confident wearers.
