By the editors · 2 min readPart of Natura's Ekos biodiversity line, named for Cyperus articulatus — an aromatic Amazon sedge root. The fragrance takes a classical structure: citrus top, green-floral heart of lily of the valley and galbanum, then a long balsamic base. The Parfum concentration pushes the base forward, making the benzoin and amber resinous and prominent from early in the wear.
Galbanum bridges the citrus and the drydown, adding a cold green note that prevents the composition from reading as purely sweet. Tonka, sandalwood, and vetiver anchor the close, while vanilla and cedar round the base into something warm and slightly woody. The 2004 release date shows: pre-reformulation chypre vocabulary with a structure that holds up for cool-weather use.
