By the editors · 2 min readNamed for night sand, Sable Nuit trades the Privé line's typical austerity for warmth and texture. Pink pepper over an olibanum-cedar core gives an early friction — dry resin meeting a trace of volatile spice — before the heart of benzoin, labdanum, and patchouli pulls the fragrance toward a softer, more deliberate weight.
The base amplifies this warmth without oversweetening. Ambroxan extends the composition's reach against skin while vanilla and returning olibanum close the loop on the frankincense thread. The result is a resinous amber with enough cedar structure to keep it from reading as purely warm.
