Perris Monte Carlo
Mediterranean perfumery in the classical mode.
Founded in 2011 by Gian Luca Perris, Perris Monte Carlo grew out of a Monaco-based family business that has worked at the higher end of the beauty industry since 1981. The house positions itself as a return to classic European perfumery — generous concentrations, recognisable raw materials, and a Mediterranean sense of elegance rather than experimental conceptualism. The collection leans heavily on the chypre and oriental traditions: Italian leathers, Calabrian bergamot, Bulgarian rose, oud and ambergris recur. Compositions are signed by Jean-Claude Ellena, Mathieu Nardin, Luca Maffei and Gian Luca Perris himself, which gives the line an unusually consistent authorial voice for a niche house this young. It suits wearers drawn to the architecture of older European fragrance — structured, solar, slightly formal — but who want the present-day clarity of a small-batch maker rather than reformulated heritage.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
